RECENT MEDICAL JOURNAL ARTICLES

Examples of Medical Journal Articles About Ocular Melanoma Diagnosis and/or Treatment

The free articles below serve as examples of the wide range of recently published research findings and other scientific information about ocular melanoma. (They are from "open-access" journals; these journals provide public access at no cost as soon as their articles are published.)

The journal articles were found through the National Institutes of Health's PubMed database using the pre-set links provided to you on EyeMelanoma.org's "How to Search for Medical Journal Articles" webpage. (Importantly, the "How to Search" webpage also provides detailed information on how to define your own search criteria as well as suggestions on how to find free access to the many articles published in fee-based journals. Performing your own customized search is strongly encouraged.)

Two main categories of journal articles — Reviews and Original Research — make up the list below. After each article's title, its category has been noted for you. If interested, you can also view a comparison chart showing "the difference between a systematic review and a literature review" (from USC Medical Library) and a five-minute video on "how to read and comprehend scientific research articles" (from UMN Libraries).

Each of these NO-COST JOURNAL ARTICLE EXAMPLES has been linked to its PDF version for easier readability and printing. This list has separate sections for uveal melanoma and conjunctival melanoma.
